Genome Size Researchers' Community
We need more discussion and open collaborations in genome size research. With this view in mind, I aim to bring together scientists working on genome size-related research to foster networking and collaboration by establishing a communication platform (such as, Slack) as an initial step, with plans to develop a website in the future.
Building on initial discussions in the "Genome Size Matters" meeting at the XXth International Botanical Congress (IBC) in Madrid in 2024, I aim to establish the “Genome Size Researchers' Community” with the following objective:
Establishing a discussion forum for researchers to exchange questions and insights
Promoting open collaborations among scientists in the research area
Announcing relevant meetings and events
Sharing relevant publications
